Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of owez.in and the services provided by Owez Shaikh ("I", "me"). By using this site or engaging my services, you agree to them. Project-specific agreements or proposals take precedence over these general terms where they differ.

Service scope

Services include video editing, graphic design, website development, AI automation, cold outreach, and content creation. Every engagement begins with a written scope — a proposal or agreed brief — that defines deliverables, timelines, and cost. Work outside that scope is quoted separately before it begins.

Payment for services is arranged directly off-site (e.g. PayPal or another agreed method) after a call or discussion — this site does not process payments for services itself.

Digital products

Digital products referenced on this site (such as the AI Website Playbook) that are sold via third-party platforms (Gumroad, Etsy) are subject to the terms and policies of those platforms in addition to these Terms.

Affiliate disclosure

This site participates in the Amazon Associates program. Some links (e.g. on /amazonfinds) are affiliate links, and I may earn a commission from qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you.

Pricing and payment

One-off projects: 50% deposit to book, 50% on delivery, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Retainers: billed at the start of each monthly cycle.
Quotes are valid for 14 days. Prices exclude any applicable taxes.
Final files and rights transfer upon full payment.

Revisions

Every deliverable includes two structured revision rounds: consolidated feedback per round, turned around promptly. Additional rounds or scope changes (new footage, new pages, new direction) are quoted separately.

Client responsibilities

You confirm you have the rights to all footage, images, music, and materials you supply.
Timely feedback keeps timelines valid; delays in feedback extend delivery dates correspondingly.

Intellectual property

On full payment, you own the final deliverables.
Working files (project files, layered sources) are included where agreed, or available on request.
I may display completed work in my portfolio unless we agree otherwise in writing. White-label work is never displayed or claimed.
Third-party assets (licensed music, stock footage, fonts) remain subject to their own licenses.

Booking

Booking a call via the site's Cal.com integration reserves a time slot only. It does not constitute a service agreement or payment.

Liability

Services are provided with professional care, but to the maximum extent permitted by law, my total liability for any claim arising from a project is limited to the amount you paid for that project. I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost profits, lost audience, platform decisions such as demonetization or takedowns).

Website use

The content of owez.in is provided for information. You may not scrape, republish, or misrepresent the work shown here as your own. Portfolio pieces belong to their respective clients and are shown with permission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with disputes subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai.
